About the Bus Pickup Desert Safari
Want the full evening desert safari without paying for a private hotel transfer? Our Bus Pick-up & Drop package collects you from a central, easy-to-reach point in Dubai or Sharjah and brings you back to the same spot after dinner. You get the same dune bashing, camel ride, sunset and desert camp as our classic safari, at a lower price.
Choose the pick-up point closest to you, from Deira, Al Barsha and Bur Dubai to Sharjah City Centre and Al Nahda. At the desert, you switch to one of our 4x4 Land Cruisers for dune bashing, then head to the camp for camel rides, sandboarding, henna, a BBQ buffet and live shows. Upgrade to VIP seating or add a 30-minute quad bike ride if you like.

Bus Pickup Desert Safari FAQs
Where can I board the bus?
Choose from eight central pick-up points: Deira (opposite Deira City Centre), Al Barsha (LuLu, behind Mall of the Emirates), Bur Dubai (Spinneys, next to BurJuman), Al Awir (Dragon Mart 1), Sharjah City Centre, Sharjah Mega Mall, Al Nahda (Sahara Centre) and Nesto opposite Kalba Fire Station. Select your point when you book.
What time does the bus leave and come back?
The bus usually departs between 2:00 and 2:30 PM and returns to the same point between 8:30 and 9:30 PM. We confirm your exact boarding time on WhatsApp after booking.
Is hotel pickup included?
No. This package uses shared bus transfers from central pick-up points only. If you would like a pickup from your hotel, book our Evening Desert Safari from AED 89, which includes free hotel pickup.
What is the difference between the four options?
Standard (AED 55) includes the bus, dune bashing, camp activities, BBQ dinner and shows. VIP Premium (AED 110) adds sofa seating, table service and a premium buffet. The Quad options (AED 179 and AED 239) add a 30-minute single-seat quad bike ride for riders aged 12 and over.
Can children join?
Yes. Children aged 0–3 travel free, ages 4–5 get 50% off, ages 6–8 get 30% off, and ages 9 and above pay the adult price. The minimum age for dune bashing is 3 years, and quad bike riders must be at least 12. Younger children can join the Quad options without riding, and our booking team may offer an extra discount for children who do not ride.
